Jewel B. Watkins was living with her father, Thomas Jefferson Watkins and step mother, Elizabeth Pendergraft Watkins, in Hopkins County Texas in 1920. There is no record of her after that. It is possible that she died of the Spanish Flu and buried on her father's farm and/or Cremated. She was listed as 19 years of age in 1920. The Census was taken in January of 1920 so Jewel may have been nearly 20. No birth and/or death record ever found.
