Nancy Lucille Baese, 55, of Seguin, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at the Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. She was born May 24, 1954 to Kenneth Pittman and Helen (Bading) Pittman in San Marcos. She married Gregory C. Baese on August 23, 1975 in New Braunfels. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was a member of the Friedens Church and was retired from Guadalupe Valley Telephone Coop after 35 years of service. She was also very involved with Relay for Life and supported cancer research.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory C. Baese of Seguin; son, Eric Baese of Austin; sisters, Catherine Stella and husband Gary of Austin, Margaret Pittman of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Mary Rust and husband Dennis of New Braunfels and Elizabeth Ellis and husband Jon of New Braunfels; and brother, Jimmy Pittman.
