COPP Shirley J. Copp, 64, of Irwin, Ohio, died Monday morning, June 30, 2003 at the James Cancer Hospital. She was a retired teacher with the Fairbanks School District in Milford Center and the London School District in London. A member of the Milford Center United Methodist Church and active in many civic organizations. She was born August 11, 1938 in Milford Center to the late Paul C. and Jean Wood Overturf and was also preceded in death by a son Benjamin R. Madden, February 2, 1994, her first husband C. Nolan Madden, March 21, 1986 and a brother James C. Overturf. She is survived by her husband, Arthur W. "Bill" Copp, whom she married October 11, 1987; children, Michael N. (Laura) Madden of London, Rebecca K. Madden of Dehradun, India; step-children, Jeanne L. (Clyde) Haley Jr. of Delaware, Sara J. Copp, Bryan J. (Jody) Copp, both of Westerville; 8 step-grandchildren; sister, Saundra J. (Powers) Pace III of Plain City. Calling hours will be Wednesday 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, 975 N. Maple St., Marysville, where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Mary Ellen Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Milford Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home Health Hospice in care of the funeral home.
