Marcene L. Collins, 86, of Marshalltown, died of cancer on Tuesday at home. Graveside services at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.
Mrs. Collins lived in Marshalltown all her life. She was a retired office manager with Anderson Distributing and a member of Central Christian Church, Elks Ladies, and Parent Teachers Association. She was a past president and a board member of League of Women Voters and was the first president of the Jaycettes. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by two daughters, Jan Elledge of Ames and Maris Schad of North Platte, Nebraska; a son, Robert of Ankeny; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil.
