Bettie was born April 14, 1939, in Littlefield. She was an active member of Stadium Drive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Edward M. Best; and brother, Bill Fore.
Survivors: Son, Eddie Best; daughter, Lenora Scales and husband, Vernon; sister, Anita Lobaugh and husband, Tom; sisters-in-law, Shirley Fore, Marian Best Williams and Marie Best; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
