Mrs. J. H. Butcher, formerly of this city, died at San Antonio Friday evening. The remains will be shipped to Houston for interment, arriving here this afternoon. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The remains of Mrs. J. H. Butcher, who died at San Antonio on the 8th instant, arrived here at 7:30 last evening. The funeral will take place from the residence of her brother-in-law, Mr. D. G. Weber, 1602 Weber street, at 9 a.m. today, Rev. E. Ammons officiating. The interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Besides her husband, the deceased leaves three brothers, Daniel, George and Emmett Fore, and three sisters, Misses Ola, Maud and Una Fore. She had been sick some time.

Lula was the daughter of of Wright Wofford Fore and Flora Lee Preston. She married John Henry Butcher on July 15, 1899 in Harris County, Texas.

She was age 20, per cemetery records. She is in an unmarked grave in the plot of her husband John Henry Butcher.

John Henry Butcher's mother Annie Serra and his nephew John Edward Reverre are also in this plot.
