Mrs. Jacob Abbiehl, sixty-three years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Edel, at ten oclock Wednesday morning following a lingering illness. Mrs. Abbiehl's maiden name was Emma Elizabeth Fore. She was a daughter of Joseph and Mary (Adler) Fore and was born in Bremen February 18, 1878. On December 31, 1895, she was united in marriage with Jacob Abbiehl who died in May, 1940.
Surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Edel, with whom she resided; one grandson, Richard Edel; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Clutteur of Bremen; and two brothers, Fred Fore of Bremen and Edward Fore of Bristol.
Funeral services will be held at two oclock Friday afternoon at the Huff Funeral home. Rev. E. G. Dobelstein, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church will officiate in the service and burial will be in the Bremen cemetery.
