Elaine Baskin, 72, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan 1, 1992.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Blackburn Shaw Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. John B. Bridwell, retired minister of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Baskin was born in Norman, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo for 60 years. She retiref from the U.S. Postal Service where she was a secretary for the postal inspector. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church, the Susanna Wesley Sunday School Class, Beta Sigma Phi and the Retired Federal Employees. She married Howard Baskin in 1941 in Amarillo.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Marcia Crouch of Dallas, and two grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to be to a favorite charity.
