Funeral services were held for Eva Bell Denton Bexley, 75, of Lucedale on June 26, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment followed in Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Burnis Havard and Rev. Jeff Bass conducting the services.
A resident of Lucedale, she was a homemaker and member of the Missionary Baptist faith. She died June 22, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Homer Bexley; son, Ralph (Vickey) Bexley of Odessa, Texas; daughter, Mary (Tommy) Roberts of Lucedale; granddaughter, Rachel (Phillip) Reeves; three grandsons, Danny (Lynn) Roberts, Joe (Serena) Roberts and Diamond Roberts, all of Lucedale; two great-grandsons, Kenneth Reeves and Caleb Roberts, both of Lucedale; three great-granddaughters, Desha Roberts, Jessica Coggins and Ariel Reeves, all of Lucedale; two brothers, Elbert Denton of Lathrop, Calif. and Jimmy Denton of Odessa, Texas and two sisters, Kathleen Smets of Central Point, Ore. and Mini Pearl Havard of Lucedale.
Pallbearers were Tommy Roberts, Danny Roberts, Joe Roberts, Diamond Roberts, Phillip Reeves and Kenneth Reeves.
George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
