WEST POINT - Mary K. Buck, 74, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at the North Miss. Medical Center in West Point. She was born in Houston, Texas and reared in Crowville, La., then moved to West Point. She was a Baptist and had worked at Monte Glove and later at Artex International. She was the daughter of the late Ruth Jane Holloway and Herman Neil Denton. She married John Buck in 1964; he predeceased her Nov. 2, 1987. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Marie Washburn; a brother, Gorden L. Denton; and a sister, Betty Ruth Denton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Spence officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Ellen R. Harpole of Cedar Bluff; three sons, John Wayne Crouch of West Point, Adrain Adair Buck and James Wesley Buck, both of Shelbyville, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Dew of Vicksburg and Julie McClurg of Carrollton; four brothers, Kenneth Denton of Scooba, Wayne Denton and Don Denton, both of Greenwood, and Herman Neil Denton of Mountain View.
Pallbearers will be Chris Kelly, Dale Langley, Andy Dew, Scott O'Brian, Daniel Perry and Randy Langley.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
