Connie Jo Denton Bradshaw was called home by her Lord May 4, 2017 following an illness of several weeks. Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Morton has been entrusted with arrangements.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 1pm-1:30pm Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held 2pm Sunday at Hodge Hill Cemetery.

Interment will follow at Hodge Hill Cemetery where she will join three generations of the Denton family.

Mrs. Bradshaw was a native of Morton and had lived most of her life in Pelahatchie.

She was born April 15, 1959 to

Austin and Ellie Allen Denton.

A member of Crossroads Baptist Church, she had attended Line Prairie Presbyterian Church for several years.

She was preceded in death by

her mother,

her grandparents, Monroe Frank and Emma Boon Denton, of Morton, and Leo and Ollie Trest Allen, of Leesburg.


She is survived by

her husband, Michael Bradshaw, of Pelahatchie,

and her father, Austin Denton, of Pelahatchie,

and a host of cousins.


Pall bearers will be Matt Seaney, Doug Bigby, Richard Cain, Dalton Denton, Clark Denton and Jessie Power.

Revelation 21: 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
