AYERS, Mary Ethel Danner, of Max Meadows, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2002, after a short illness.
She was born October 20, 1917, in Max Meadows, Va., daughter of the late James H. and Pearl Thacker Danner, and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Ayers, her sister and brother-in-law, Emily and Randolph White, her brother, Melvin Danner, and a son-in-law, Jack Ellison, Jr. She was a member of Max Meadows United Methodist Church.
She dedicated her life to her family, and her love will always be held dear by all of them. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and James Ellison of Rural Retreat, Carolyn Ellison of Rural Retreat, Ethel and L.B. "Pete" Wright of Wytheville.
