On the evening of Wednesday, July 19, 2017, while surrounded by his loved ones, Travis Larry Miller, age 43, passed away peacefully at his sisters’ residence in Marion. Born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on June 06, 1974, he was the son of Larry Dean Miller and Kaye Mills Miller of Marion.



Travis enjoyed camping and fishing, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his children. He attended Harvest Time Baptist Church.



Left to cherish his memories, in addition to his parents, his wife, Kimberly Morris Miller; three children, Kaitlin Alexis Miller, Victoria Nola Miller and Trevor Larry Dean Miller; one sister, Keisha Miller Hastings and her husband, Mark; and two nephews, Marcus and Eli Hastings. Travis is also survived by a special brother, Josh “Bubba” Morris and nephew, Zack Morris.



A celebration of Travis’s life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Bruce Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
