She was born Feb. 20, 1939 in Delroy, Ohio to Edgar and Mary (Harkless) Russell and had been a Hartville resident most of her life.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2001 after 29 years of service, having worked at the Uniontown and Akron offices.
She was a graduate of Carrollton High School.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Shorty" Young of Hartville; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl Monroe of Beaufort, S.C., Dolly Schorr of Florida, Valerie and Jimmy Re gas of Lehigh, Fla., Natalie and David Misalko of Boardman, Ohio; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville, with Rev. Sue and Rev. Bob Blessing officiating.
Interment will be at Mount Peace Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
