He was born Feb. 17, 1961, to the late Rex Eugene and Marjorie Faye Worrell Deal. On Sept. 14, 2002, he married Melissa Beth Tangeman, who survives.
Mr. Deal had been a chemical operator at Potash Corp. and enjoyed camping, fishing, the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Survivors include four children, Amber (Paul II) Holbrook, of Lima, Jamie (Krystal Pettes) Deal, of Hudson, Fla., Carey (Rich Walpole) Coburn, of Tampa, Fla., and Amalie Cummins, of Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Makayla Holbrook, Paul Holbrook III, Taylor Holbrook, David Deal, Jordan Estfan and Tyler Estfan; a brother, Thomas Deal, of Wapakoneta; a brother-in-law, Greg Meyer, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Deal; a brother, Daniel Deal; and a sister, Deborah Meyer.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jeanette Tangeman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
