Film Editor. He won two Oscars for his work on "Ben-Hur" and "King Solomon's Mines." Nominated four other times, he worked on over 80 feature films and a number of shorts during a career that started in 1928. He learned his craft cutting two-reelers, with his first feature film in 1939, "They All Came Out." Credits include Oscar's Lifetime Achievement Award, and 12 movies made including Blake Edwards' "Victor/Victoria," "10," and others. His final film was "Cutthroat."
