Professional Football Player. For seven seasons (1972 to 1978), he played at the middle-linebacker position in the National Football League with the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills. Born Thomas Lawrence Graham, he played collegiate football at the University of Oregon and established himself as one of the school's all-time greats, as he set a team record for tackles. Selected by the Denver Broncos during the 4th round of the 1972 NFL Draft, he totaled 89 career regular season games. Graham showed durability during the first half of his career, as he put together a consecutive streak which spanned four-seasons (1972 to 1975). In 1976 while with the Chargers, he produced a career-high 3 interceptions with 55 yards. Graham was inducted into the University of Oregon Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001. His son Daniel Graham was a longtime tight end in the National Football League (2002 to 2012), with the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints. Graham died of complications from brain cancer.
