Born Lois Brown in Chicago, she got her start in the entertainment industry with a minor role in "The Monkees'"film "Head" (1968), prior to joining the cast of "Laugh In", on which she often sported a bikini with body paint and a brilliant smile. Following her time on "Laugh In," she experienced guest roles on such programs as "The Flying Nun," "Love, American Style," "Ironside," and many more. She had a role of substance playing 'Lila' in the cult film "The Thing with Two Heads" (1972). During the 1970s, she moved to Australia and became a citizen as she continued to act in television. She was married to Australian actor Vic Rooney. She died from complications of pneumonia.
