Major League Baseball Player. Born Todd Gerard Frohwirth, he was mostly a relief pitcher for four different Major League Baseball teams (Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, California Angels) from 1987 to 1996. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 13th Round of the 1984 MLB June Amateur Draft from Northwest Missouri State University. He started in the minors before being called up by the Phillies for a short time in 1987. In 1988 he started the season in the minors, but was again called up by the Phillies later in the year. He played for Philadelphia until 1991 when he went to Baltimore to pitch for the Orioles. He spent three seasons with them before joining the Boston Red Sox for one year. In 1996 he joined the California Angels for his last season in professional baseball. During his career, he threw with a submarine arm delivery. His career statistics were 20 wins and 19 losses with a 3.60 ERA and 259 strikeouts in 92 games. After he retired, he coached high school basketball in Wisconsin. He also served as a scout for the Baltimore Orioles.
