Dr. C. A. Kaiser
Dies in Lockport

LOCKPORT - Dr. Charles A.
Kaiser, 76, of 51 Park PI., a physi-
cian here since 1912 and a former
member of the Board of Education
and the Board of Health, died Wednesday
(Sept. 5, 1956) in Lockport
Memorial Hospital after an illness
of more than two years.
He was graduated in 1906 from
the Los Angeles College of Osteopathy
and first practiced in Little
Falls and Herkimer before coming
here in 1912.
On March 4, he received a plaque
from the Western New York Osteo-
pathic Society, commemorating his
50 years of service to his profession.
D;. Kaiser was born Dec. 27.
1879, in North Tonawanda, son of
John and Elizabeth Hardleben
Kaiser. He was a member of Lock-
port Lodge No. 73. F&AM, the
Rotary Club, Tioga Tribe No. 289.
Redrnen and the First Presbyterian
Church.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Clara Huston; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. John F. Argue and Mrs.
Charlton A. Bulmer, both of Wil-
son; a sister, Mrs. William Ott,
LaHarva, Calif.; and five grand-
children.
The Rev. Stephen Palmer. D.D.,
pastor of First Presbyterian
Church, will conduct services at 2
p.m. Sunday at the Prudden and
Kandt Funeral Home. Burial will
be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
