In this City, on Friday last, Mr. ROBERT JOHNSON, of Warren County, to Miss WINIFRED GALES, eldest daughter of Mr. Joseph Gales, State Printer.

DIED,
At the residence of Gen. R. R. Johnson, in Warren county, on the 7th inst. Mrs. Winifred M., wife of the General, and eldest daughter of Joseph Gales, Esq. of Raleigh, in the 38th year of her age. If to fulfill all the duties of life with exemplary propriety, uniformly to display the kindest feelings in her domestic relations and to exhibit the most conciliating disposition towards all with whom she had intercourse, entitle her memory to a tender and lasting impression on the minds of her bereaved family and friends, then will she long be held in tender remembrance.
