Obituary in Part-SHERMAN - Services for Stella Mae (Sue) Grant were held, Monday, August 15, 2011 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Roger Spears of Kemp Baptist Church, Kemp OK officiated. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Denison with Waldo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements Stella passed away August 12, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center.

Pallbearers were Joshua Wyatt, Thomas Wyatt, William Wilson, Tommy Shipp, Joshua Shipp and Dennis Michaels.

Stella was born June 9, 1950 in Denison, TX to Chapel and Ethel Mae Horner Pittman.

She attended Colbert schools and graduated in 1968. She was married to Frankie Lee Grant in Denison June 22, 1973. She loved to cook and had worked in the Crutchfield school cafeteria for several years. She had attended Forest Ave. Baptist Church and she had two dogs that she loved, Shadrack and Gabbie. She and Frankie owned and operated Frankie's Welding Service, which she continued to operate after his death. They also owned and operated National Crosslink Powder Coating Inc. She enjoyed going to car races and watching Frankie when he raced. Later in life she continued to love the sport and never missed a Car race on TV.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband and twin sons Donnie and Ronnie McCord,

She is survived by sisters; Linda Fay and Husband (Edmund) Moncevicius of Enfield Conn. Anna Rice and James Rice of Kemp OK. Brothers; Douglas Pittman and wife Nell Sue of Colbert, Ellis Pittman and wife Betty of Kemp OK, Ricky Lee Pittman and wife Sherry of Kemp OK and Gary Don Pittman of OK; Mother in law Anna Jo Grant of Sherman; and two sister in laws Doris Davidson and Patsy Grant; and a number of nieces and nephews; and Tommy Shipp who was like a son.
