Mr. GEORGE WILLIAM FIELDS, SR. a devoted Husband to the late, Marietta Nowlin Fields 2000, step-father to 1, grandfather of 5, father of 4, the last survivor of 3 brothers and 3 sisters, born and raised in the 1900's in Jackson, TN to the late George and Sylvia Fields.
Retired from Inland Steel Mill in 1981 with over 50 years of service! A World War II veteran. During the year of 2000 after the passing of his beloved wife, his health deteriorated along with rapid loss of weight. Diagnosed as having returned prostate cancer. On April 29, 2002 the struggle ended at 11:15 P.M. On Saturday before his death, he confessed his sins to GOD (out of his mouth and asked GOD for forgiveness!!) Now, He is In HEAVEN FOREVER With JESUS CHRIST !!! HALLELUIAH !!!
