She and her husband, James, who died in 2000, lived in Huntingburg for 20 years before coming to Oakland City. She was a beautician before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Allison, of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jason and Heather Allison; two brothers, Harold Hedges, of Evansville and Warren Hedges, of Oakland City; and a sister, Velma Conrad, of Francisco.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Hamilton Hedges, and a sister, Mary Corn.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, in Oakland City, with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will be in the Montgomery Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. Until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
