Bio

Ex Army and now in my older years I enjoy researching military graves of the fallen. I spend many hours uncovering information about their lives, and that of their family. I have been fortunate to meet likeminded members who undertake research - and provide a fascinating insight to the lives of those who have passed-on. I've found that, with few exceptions, most members of the 'Find a Grave' site are keen to share their information and help others in their own research.
My opinion is that History should be about the sharing of past information for everyone's benefit. Equally, each memorial on the site is of a person, with a family, and they deserve to have their memory recorded accurately and respectfully.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COPY ANY OF MY PHOTOS FOR YOUR OWN USE ON EITHER 'FIND A GRAVE' OR EXTERNAL WEBSITES / PUBLICATIONS / DISPLAYS ETC ETC ETC. NO CREDIT IS REQUIRED OR SOUGHT. Those fools who demand you give them a photo credit are, in my opinion, just egotistical idiots. "Oh how dare you use my photo without telling everyone how wonderful I am." So you're worried about me re-using a photo you took? Of a gravestone? That you've already posted into the public domain yourself? Are you on medication? If not, I think perhaps you should be.
