My genealogy moto is: If at first you don't succeed, search, search and search again. That's why we call it re-search!

WE ARE THE STORY TELLERS OF THE TRIBE
Each generation has MEMORIES, STORIES and VALUES they want to pass along. Our job as genealogists is to find them and share their memories, tell their stories and learn from their values, building the chain that binds our generations together.

It is my great pleasure to gather their memories, tell their stories and Honor their lives with Dignity and Respect

My own journey to find my ancestors began over 50 years ago. Also working as a semi-professional genealogist for many years. In early 1997, I decided to take things to the next level and become a professional genealogist. Four years later, I walked across the stage and collected my degrees in Genealogical Research and Archival Management. For many years I not only taught genealogy to hundreds of beginning genealogist, but also helped countless friends and clients build their family trees.

WE ARE THE CHOSEN
In each family, there is at least one person who seems called to find the ancestors.  We put flesh on their bones and make them live again, hoping that somehow they approve.

True genealogical research is NOT the just gathering of cold, hard facts, but also breathing life into all who have gone before by telling their stories, sharing their memories and values. If you are the last living link between your ancestors and future generations, please don't break this chain. If you don't tend to your roots, the tree may wither away.

We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise. – Edward Sellner

Preserve your memories, keep them well, what you forget you can never retell. — Louisa May Alcott

To forget one's ancestors is equivalent to being a brook without a source or a tree without a root. – Chinese Proverb

There is no king who has not had a slave among his ancestors, and no slave who has not had a king among his. – Helen Keller

Only a genealogist thinks that a step backward is progress.

Why waste your money looking up your family tree? Just go into politics and your opponents will do it for you. – Mark Twain

Well Mr. Twain, I don't have the money or desire to go into politics. Instead, I gather family histories, it is the legacy I leave for generations to come.
