I started transcribing and taking photographs of the graveyards and headstones on Alderney. of my ancestors. Then I continued doing all the other headstones, to try and preserve the names of people who lived and died on Alderney, so they would not be forgotten.

Plus, I have had requests to take photos from my local churchyards, and at the same time, I have made memorials unrelated to me or uploaded photos for the help of others to transcribe (I am very grateful for their input) to enable others to find their relatives who are searching.

If you are a family member no matter how far back; let me know you are a relative and I will transfer the memorial over to you so you can make any changes yourselves.

I only see myself as the person who has uploaded the information in preparation for family members who are looking for their relatives.
