I am the chief genealogist in our family but my mother is keeper of the records. I have a pretty large tree going on Ancestry and I tend to bounce around regarding what branch I am currently researching as more information is uploaded and I can connect the dots between families. My grandfather had a cousin who did extensive research on the Mitchell side of the family and we have been able to go back to 1635 in the US. There are still some broken branches in other lines and I am slowly working on those as time permits. I did some research at the Midwest Genealogy Library in 2021 and hope to go back and do some more sleuthing there and in Oklahoma and Iowa soon. I live in Washington State near Mount Rainier National Park.
