I have been doing Genealogy since the year 2000 and decided to get on board here at Find A Grave after seeing several memorials to my family members being added by people with no family connection to them. Most managers do a wonderful job. They are kind and respectful about fixing mistakes and transferring memorials to family members. Others are not. Also, this is a grave site website where photographs of the cemetery, headstones and markers should be used. Photographs of people, without the express permission of family members, should not be copied or used on this site. Copyrights of personal family photos belong to the families and are not in the public domain for others to use. In-depth family histories or biographies should not be written by strangers here at Find A Grave. It is an intrusion that goes too far.
