I have only recently joined the Find a Grave community but I have been finding helpful information from other contributors on it for years. I decided since I have found a wealth of information that I might never have found otherwise that I should try to contribute as well. I teach high school so genealogy is my summer fun and I have been playing with it for 20 something years. Since I do not yet have any memorials to maintain, I plan to try to keep a check on the cemeteries near me and add any photos requested and share any information that I might have. Without Find a Grave there are family members I would have never found. It is an amazing site and an amazing community that I look forward to being a part of.
