If you see me comment on a marker with cleaning information:
I use a 1/64th solution of vinegar and water (2 ozs of vinegar to 128 Oz of water). The current recommendation is a 1/4 part solution per the Springfield HS.
I only use natural bristled brushes and the softest ones that I can possibly get away with.
I have permission from the cemetery to be out there and working.
I follow ALL HS guidelines and policies in regards to cleaning.
At this time, I am not currently doing any type of restoration work on broken stones until I have been approved on my next project by the Springfield Historical Society.
