Bio

A native of Charlotte, our family held King George III Land grants in Gaston/Lincoln County, with original pioneer ancestors from south Germany. It took attending seminary to discover that my Rudisill family fled Switzerland in the Protestant Reformation, entering the protection of Martin Luther in south Germany!
I so much respect those pioneer ancestors as well as all those who preceded me as their struggles were incredibly difficult. (Mine haven't been easy lately--having lost my career job after 23 years at an orphanage as fund-raiser, writer, my husband in 2009, a horse trainer, my horses and farm....my return to the now huge metropolis of Charlotte has been difficult. Three historical novels written: "MY DARLING ALICE," "THE HATE TREE: LYNCHING OF A REBEL," and "I AM GOING HOME TO DIE NO MORE." All novels are historical fiction re time of Civil War and Reconstruction --family tales.
