Born in Steelton on the West Side, I have now come full circle. After moving around because of my husband's career in the Air Force and in private industry, I am retired and back in Dauphin County in Linglestown. My paternal ancestors immigrated from Europe, and settled in and around Dauphin County -- Steelton, Harrisburg, Halifax, Berrysburg, Gratz, etc. My maternal ancestors immigrated from the United Kingdom and lived & died in the Philadelphia area.
