A lifetime of interest of history and having time this long winter to finally take some time to research my family roots have led me here. I grew up on our multi-generation family farm, knowing who each individual owner of our farm was. Family history has always been known to a small degree "up and down", but never to the sides (siblings of my relatives)- through researching many sites, I have been able to fill in almost every blank in one of the few family trees of mine I had little knowledge on- Wichern. Oddly enough, the Meyer name I share with my ancestors is the only family that has not been completely researched before by other family members!
