I was first introduced to genealogy by my paternal grandparents when I was very young. They used to take family road trips from San Diego, California to their home state of Indiana, stopping at various locations along the way to do family research. When they passed away many years ago, all of their documented research was passed to me. I recently picked up where they left off and have been seriously researching my family lines since 2008.

I discovered Find A Grave in 2011 and found a host of information on the site that was growing every day. I found that there is much to be learned from finding the headstones of our ancestors and their families. I have since been adding records from local cemeteries and have recently been helping with photo requests.
