Bio
Maiden name Poma, married first to Frank E. Tschiggfrey (deceased), second marriage was to Ed Williams (deceased). I reside in Michigan
Past V. Pres. Mid-Michigan Genealogical Society and President of Oscoda County Genealogical Society. Both taught and lectured on various courses and topics of genealogy. Had a couple articles published in the "Genealogical Helper". Enjoy the process of growing and learning.
My mother started my interest in family history in the 1960's, as she had already began researching. We worked together, in time I obtained my first computer and genealogy program in 1988. Made five fascinating European visits for research, reconnecting with family along the way. Many of the names researched are also related to both of my husbands (one born in Germany and the other in New Jersey).
Interested Surnames: Poma, Cipponeri, Grammatico Beutler, Bauerle, Bohnet, Boehringer, Ehmann, Faisst, Finkbeiner, Frey, Fahrner, Gaisser, Gutekunst, Haist, Maulbetsch, Morlock, Klumpp, Kussmaul, Katz, Oesterle, Pfeiffle, Rauschenberger, Rothfuss, Stygles, Vogt, Waidelich, Wuerth, Ziefle, to name a few.
In Memoriam
What is it all, when all is told,
This constant striving for fame or gold,
The fleeting joys, the bitter tears,
We are only here a few short years.
Nothing our own but the silent past,
Loving or hating, nothing can last.
What is it all, but a passing through,
A cross for me and a cross for you.
Ours seem heavy, while others seem light.
But God in the end makes all things right!
He tempers the wind with such loving care,
He knows the burdens each can bear
Then He changes life's gray into heavenly gold.
Ah! That is all, when all is told.

My own epitaph: I didn't get old ...Just was young a long time.
