I am a descendant of William Jackson Hicks and Sarah Rivers Hicks. My research emphasis has been the Hicks line including numerous collateral lines such as Collier and Ratcliff. Bundgard and Bidstrup lines are also of interest. Over the past 18-20 years I have created an extensive database of Hicks, Collier and Ratcliff relatives.

My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the entire United States and into Canada in search of ancestors and relatives, photographing tombstones wherever they were found. When I first started using Find A Grave the site was relatively new. At that time I had hundreds of memorials to create and lots of photos to upload. In subsequent years I became sidetracked and never got it done. I was pleasantly surprised recently to find how much the site has expanded over the years. Most, if not all, of the memorials I had planned to create and upload photos to have already been taken care of! Many thanks to all the Find A Grave contributors !
