Allison T. Burris was born Jan. 1850 (according to 1900 IL Census for McLean County, Empire Twsp., LeRoy City). He married his first wife Lutitia Kinder 24 January 1872 in Fayette, Indiana. They had one son, Walter, born 1873 or 1874.
He married his second wife Sarah E. Ashley 29 April 1877 in Starke, Indiana. They had son E. Alvey in 1878 (from 1880 IL census), and daughters Maude May 1887 and Nellie J. in 1892 (from 1900 IL census). Possibly there were others that didn't show up on the census.

Note Allison's father's name is listed as "Bart" on his death certificate. In 1840, in neighboring Wayne Co a Bartly Burrows family is listed in Cambridge Twp.
