Jacque Howard Glenn, 57, of 618 Bedivere, district clerk for the Southern Pacific Railroad here, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. James L. Carlson officiating.
Masonic graveside rites will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery by the Victoria Masonic Lodge No. 40 AM & AF. Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home on Red River Street until 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, at which time it will be taken to the church for services.
Born March 6, 1925, he was a lifelong resident of Victoria and had been an employee of the Southern Pacific Railroad more than 40 years.
He was a member of Victoria Masonic Lodge No. 40 AM & AF, Arabia Shrine Temple in Houston, and Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Madeline Clark Glenn.
Surviving are his wife, Clemenine Killion Glenn of Victoria; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Johnson of Victoria; and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be Charles Speck, Roger Horn, J. B. Towes, Ed Janota, Bill Runhardt and Dr. Ted Shields.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Hill, Dewain Barett, members of Victoria Masonic Lodge No. 40 AM & AF, and employees of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
In lieu of usual remembrance, if desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the organ fund of Trinity Lutheran Church.
