Eleanor Theresa Clancy, 91, of Manchester NH, died May 1, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a period of failing health. She was born in Manchester on Aug. 21, 1910, the daughter of Henry and Mary Ellen (Crawford) Farley. She attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of the city. Before her retirement, she worked as a cook with F.W. Woolworth for 15 years. She was a longtime communicant of Saint Pius X Church. Mrs. Clancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed the pleasures of family life.

She was married 39 years to Henry T. Clancy, who died in 1968. Mrs. Clancy was also predeceased by her sons Robert Clancy (died at about 1 year of age) and Henry Clancy and daughters Frances Machel and Patricia Comtois.

The family includes her sons Edward G. Clancy, Douglas A. Clancy, and Joseph M. Clancy, all of Manchester; daughters Elaine M. (Edward) Bozoian, Catherine (Thaddeus) Paradie, and Donna (Vernon) Kelley, all of Manchester, Muriel (Gerard) Bonenfant of Pennsylvania, and Linda (Kenneth) Jamro of Merrimack NH; 42 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister Hazel Kallenburg of Manchester; brother Ralph Farley of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.
