The other four children were: Emma "Helen" Jeffery Johnson, Florence May Jeffery Carlson, Percy Lewis Jeffery and Herbert Redvers "Bert" Jeffery.
In 1914 she married Henry James. One child was born to them (Clarence Kenneth James) and that child died at one and one-half years old in 1916, of anemia. Henry James died in 1926. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
