A long-time administrator and member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States.

The National Spiritual Assembly did establish the post of Assistant Secretary in 1944 to help Horace Holley, electing Charlotte Linfoot to this position, and she took over much of the day to day work of the office.

Charlotte Linfoot, long-time leader of Baha'i faith, dies

Charlotte M. Linfoot, 81, died Oct. 30 at Normandy House in Wilmette. Miss Linfoot was born in North Dakota on May 30, 1895.

She is survived by a sister, Gladys of Wilmette.
