She dedicated her life to the Cause of God, having discovered the Baha'i Faith in Alaska. The success of her exemplary efforts are visible internationally through her services as a member of the European Teaching Committee during the Ten Year Crusade and in the development of the Baha'i communities in North America where she served as a member of the National Teaching Committee, the United States Baha'i National Center's Office of Assembly Development and as a member of the Auxiliary Board helping to establish the first National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the Bahamas.

Late in WWII she took a civil service job at a military post in Alaska, and attended firesides hosted by Honor Kempton and Dagmar Dole. She became a Baha'i in January 1947.

She moved to San Antonio, Texas, helped to found the first Spiritual Assembly in 1948, and served on it for a decade. In 1963 Jackson moved to Wilmette, Illinois, and worked at the Baha'i National Center Secretariat, Baha'i New magazine and the Baha'i Publishing Trust.
