Bev was born July 22, 1947, in Wichita, Kan., to Charles Richard and Gladys Mae Maley. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Bev was an active member of First Baptist Church in Grapevine where in the past she served as the financial secretary. She worked for the Grapevine Colleyville school district for the past 20 years most recently served as an administrative assistant to the chief learning officer. Bev enjoyed cooking and really enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
Survivors: Husband, Dick Hodel; daughter, Kirsey Hodel Bass and husband, James E. Bass; and granddaughters, Emily Nicole and Madison Breann Bass.
