Son of William Henry Lafayette Gathright & SusanAnn Gilian BUCKNER. Baptist Minister, served at First Baptist Church in Clarkesville, AR cir 1910 and Amarillo Tx cir 1920, m Stella Ann Tarkington 15 Jan 1891, Union par, LA, issue Guy O., Graton E, Clyde L, Murry L, Earnestine F.,
May have served in Manila baptist Church cir 1936 when wife died.
was listed in the History of Arkansas Baptists, by Executive board of Arkansas Baptist State Convention, Conway printing co, 1948

it appears in 1938 after visiting his children in California after his wife died that he remarried on his way back to Texas. but by 1940 he had divorced said person and went to live with his widowed handicapped sister in Arkansas until he was put into a home due to medical condition and died a few years later. (this was pieced together from evidence found in AZ and census and directories. as it was not spoken of in the family none can be confirmed for absolute surety at this time.)
