Ted was preceded in death by: daughter, Shari Zornes and son, Joel Zornes and parents.
Survivors are: wife, Viola Zornes; sons and daughter-in-law, Todd, Eric and Billie Zornes; grandchildren, Colleen (Zornes) Reed, raised by grandparents after the death of her mother; Zachary Zornes, Spencer Reed, Samantha Reed, Joseph Peterson, Nicole Peterson, Tyler, Shyanne, Jessy and Katie; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Eileen Zornes of Grand Island and a host of relatives and friends.
Ted graduated from Aurora High School. He joined the Army and spent two years in England, Germany and France. He attended Milford Trade School. Theodore worked for American Stores Packing for 25 years and then Lincoln Public Schools as a Building Superintendent until his retirement. He married Viola (Lovell) Zornes on Dec. 24, 1957, and had been married 54½ years.
Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
Ted was a member of Grace Methodist Church and lifetime member of the VFW.
Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
