HILL, Bonnie Jean -- Bonnie Jean HILL, 61, of Birmingham, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Marvin Robeck officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, National Diabetes Foundation or the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Mrs. HILL was born March 14, 1946, in Independence, Mo., the daughter of Leroy Franklin and Pauline Iona FLOWERS RUNKLE. She married Steven James INGWERSEN June 4, 1966. They divorced in September 1979. She married Walter HILL March 21, 1980.

Mrs. HILL attended Independence schools and William Chrisman High School. She moved to Iowa with her first husband.

Mrs. HILL was a member of the RLDA Church in Independence, where she taught Sunday and vacation Bible school. She had been past president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Fairmont, Minn., and past president of Fairfield Eagles Auxiliary No. 1927. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Birmingham Card Club, Ottumwa Saddle Club and First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dale and wife Mandy INGWERSEN of Douds and Jeffrey INGWERSEN of Brighton; one daughter, Jodi HOWARD and husband Brent of Ottumwa; two stepdaughters, Karen HILL of Skokie, Ill., and Norma BAKER and husband Tony of Fairfield; one stepson, Bill HILL and wife Kim of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; her mother of Independence, Mo.; and one sister, Joyce GRIFFITH of Independence, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, John Walton ROWAN; one daughter-in-law; and one infant stepgrandson.
