Survived by a son and his wife, Boyd and Molly Gabel of Seward; grandchildren, Gregory (Linda) Gabel of Greeley, Colo., Mitchell and (Veronica) Gabel of Bee; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson. Preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Shirley Gabel; parents, Ira and Hannah (Lewellen) Shirley; brother, Walter Shirley; sisters, Florence (Elza) Hart, Nora (Fred) Gumbel.
