Mrs. Fike died Thursday at a Hettinger, N.D. hospital. She was born on September 6, 1895, to Richard and Marie Churchill at Doland, She attended Doland schools,
On Jan 12, 1915 she was married to Charles Fike at Doland. The Fikes moved to a homestead north of Keldron where they farmed and ranched until 1957, when they retired and moved to Lemmon.
Mrs Fike was active in Eastern Star, Selma Union, Selma Union Homemakers Club, Ladies Aid, Lemmon Senior Citizens Club, and the Rebecca Lodge, serving as a past noble grand. After Retirement she also spent time working as a volunteer at a local nursing home.
Survivors include her widower of Lemmon; six sons, Walter of Anaconda, Mont., Lester of Wyoming, Minn., Arthur of Alaska, Leroy of Seattle, Wash., Neil of Bothel, Wash., and Fred of Big Sky, Mont.; and five daughters, Mrs Walter (Marjorie) Joiner of Crescent City, Calif., Mrs Ray (Olive) Jacobs of Morristown, Mrs Chris (Marie) Schell of Billings, Mont., Mrs Wayne (Ruth) Mayer of Crescent City, Calif., and Mrs Robert (Grace) Schell of Baker, Mont.
Also surviving are two brothers, Richard of Seattle, and Walter of Mount Vernon, Wash.; 56 Grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
