Grandson of Sarah Locknane, a woman who came Colorado with her husband in 1860 with two children under the age of three. The youngest child, would become Oscar's mother some 25 years later.
Oscar came to California from Denver in the early 1920's at the age of approximately 35 to 40 and worked in security at the DeYoung Museum and Hartfort Insurance.
It is believed that he and his wife Bessie had two children.
He died at the age of 71 at San Francisco General Hospital.
While I was a great nephew who lived in the East Bay I never met Oscar.
